What we do.

Cultivated Commerce is a commerce consultancy specialising in operations. We work across five verticals, from the platforms a product business runs on to how it converts and retains its customers.

Platform and Infrastructure

For most product businesses, this is where operational drag starts. A platform outgrown by the business that built it. Integrations bolted on rather than planned. A codebase so patched and modified that every new change takes twice as long as it should. We build and consolidate the systems your commerce operation runs on.

B2B and Wholesale

A lot of wholesale businesses still run their trade channel on a patchwork of manual processes, spreadsheet price lists and workarounds that slow the sales team and create errors at fulfilment. Our work here is custom pricing, ordering and trade workflows that B2B operations depend on, purpose-built for the way their customers actually buy.

Unified Commerce and POS

For retailers operating across multiple locations and a website, the gap between channels is where the problems live: stock that doesn't reconcile, customer data that stays siloed, in-store teams working from a different source of truth than the online team. Our work here closes that gap, connecting online, in-store and trade channels so inventory, customer data and customer experience stay consistent.

Analytics and Reporting

Most product businesses make decisions from incomplete numbers: revenue in one system, inventory in another, customer behaviour in a third, and no reliable way to bring it together. We connect that data and build the pipelines, tracking and dashboards that give leadership a clear view of the business and the insight to make better decisions.

Conversion and Retention

Often conversion problems are not creative problems. They are infrastructure problems: a checkout that loses people, a loyalty program that never gets set up, lifecycle emails that fire at the wrong time or not at all. The work here is the infrastructure underneath: the systems that get more from the customers a business already has.

AI

We use AI where it does real work, built into the operational tools we deliver. Not novelty features. Practical leverage that helps a team do more with less manual effort.

The aim is twofold: improve the day-to-day efficiency of the operation, and turn the data a business already produces into insight its leadership can act on. Commerce Control, our operating system for product businesses, is the clearest example of the kind of tool this produces. Built for a customer, run by their own team.

We don't do marketing.

We don't do marketing. We don't run ad campaigns, buy paid media, or produce content for social media. That work matters, and it is its own discipline. We partner with marketing and creative specialists who do it well, rather than claiming it ourselves.

This is a deliberate choice. A firm that offers every discipline is usually thin across most of them. We would rather be trusted completely with one thing than partly with everything. For us that one thing is operations, and the depth is only possible because we don't spread ourselves across the rest.

Start with Clarity.

Every engagement begins with Commerce Clarity, a fixed-scope ecommerce operations audit that defines the problem before any build is committed.
